Over the past many of decades there has been ever increasing examination of the products utilized for controlling pests in home yards and gardens. That inspection is largely based on growing safety concerns regarding those products, especially pesticides to adversely impact human, animal and environmental health. There is increasing disappointment among homeowners and professionals alike with the overuse, misuse and indiscriminate use of pesticides in the environment. New approaches and new strategies are being considered and implemented for managing and controlling pests in yards, home and gardens.

Non-toxic way to control pest

Keeping helpful predators outside the home reduces interior problems. These include frogs, spiders, ladybugs, praying mantis, and dragonflies. These beneficial creatures help reduce pest populations in side and outside. Here are some tips to control pest in the home.

Vinegar. Wash countertops, cabinets and floor with equal pans vinegar and water to deter ant infestations. Vinegar helps to remove all pests from home.

Hot Peppers -Boil 2 or 3 very hot peppers, half an onion and one clove garlic in water. Sharp for 5-10 hours and drain through clothe. Spray on foliage. Avoid contact with eyes.

Soap – The least toxic chemical for many gardeners is a soap mixture. Spraying plants with soap water will control aphids, mealy bugs, red spider mites and lice. Mix two tablespoons of liquid soap per one quart water. Spray on plants.

Tobacco Water- Place a large handful of tobacco into four quarts of warm water. Let stand for 24 hours. Dilute and apply with a spray bottle.

Basic way to control pets

Too much of either natural or chemical pest control can have undesirable results both in home and in living environment in general. Pests come in many forms. The average homeowner has a constant battle with mosquitoes, crickets and even rodents. Everyone should take precautions to control mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are flies that feed on the blood of humans and animals. Using insect repellant or mosquito netting can simply control them. Vinegar is the best way to get rid of these type home pests. Dilute vinegar and water together and spray in the different parts of the home to get rid of the bugs and pets.
