The stepping stool must be colorful and bright. Bright colours are generally what stimulate the imagination and curiosity of the child. The height of these stools must be kept in mind. They should not be too high because the child might not be capable of climbing onto it and at the same time should not be too low or else the child will not be able to reach the desired height. The options of a single step stepping stool or a double step stepping stool can also be explored. The base of the stool must have a rubber coating to ensure that it grips the floor and does not slide. This will make sure that it can safely balance the child's weight and at the same time will not risk the safety of the child. Also the flat portion onto which the child climbs onto must have a broad width. A narrow surface area is dangerous for the child as there is a possibility of the child falling off the stool.

These are just few of the tips that you should keep in mind while deciding on the right stepping stool for your nursery. The price factor should also be kept in mind while selecting a stepping stool for your nursery.
