The Benefits of an Air Purifier and Cleaners
If you were to examine one drop of water drawn from a pond and view it with the naked eye you would not see anything out of the ordinary within that drop of water. However, if you were to put that same drop of water under a microscope you would be amazed at what you would see. Through the lens of a high-powered microscope you would see a number of living and varied organisms.
The same holds true when we view the air in our home. To the naked eye the air that we look at and breathe in seems to be void of any pollutants. However, if we were able to look at that air through magnification we would see all sorts of substances. These substances could be bacteria, mold, viruses, fungi, dust mites, etc.
To capture these pollutants in the air that we breathe there is available a product designed to purify the air. These air purifier and cleaners capture the air through a process, purify the air and then reemit the air into the home. There are many benefits to the use of air purifier and cleaners. Those benefits include the breathing of cleaner air and a better night's sleep.
How it Works
Air purifier and cleaners generally have a built in fan which serves to circulate the air in a specific room of the home. These air purifier and cleaners also include a filtration system which captures and destroys the various pollutants in the air that is passed through the filter.
Specifically, the room air is drawn into the air purifier and cleaners and is trapped through the use of air filters. The particles, drawn from the air, are electrically treated which results in these particles obtaining a positive charge. Following this treatment, plates within the air purifier and cleaners are electrically charged which results in these plates becoming the opposite in polarity. This results in a magnetic effect which captures the particles and holds them fast.
In addition some air purifier and cleaners have a charcoal system which filters the air and captures odors lingering in the room. These odors could be cigar or cigarette smoke, foods, etc.
The final process with some air purifier and cleaners is the return of air to the room once it has been refreshed. This refreshed air is accomplished through an ionization process of the air.
Cleaner Air
It is estimated by some authorities that the air within an individual's home is far more polluted than the air breathed outside the home. This is an amazing assertion given the fact that the air, outside the home, is polluted with car and industry pollutants.
Therefore, the major benefit of air purifier and cleaners is the resulting clean air within the individual's home. This cleaner air will result in fewer illnesses. This result is based on the fact that the air will be purified of viruses and bacteria which can cause respiratory illnesses. Also, the use of air purifier and cleaners will help to minimize allergies and the resulting uncomfortable symptoms associated with their onset.
One additional benefit, by using air purifier and cleaners, results in cleaner and fresher air which aids in obtaining a better night's sleep.
