Clean ceramic tile

Ceramics are inert, non-metallic materials that have been subjected to heat treatment. Material used is clay that contains a huge amount of silicates. Tiles used in the residence are set in a thin plaster-like substance called grout. Tile may be bought glazed or unglazed. If it has been glazed, it will be much easier to keep tidy. Seal mortar stuck between tiles Vacuum regularly, and occasionally damp mop with plain water to remove soil. Infrequently for heavier soil use a mild detergent solution, rinse well, and wipe dry for more shine.

Screened In: How to Replace the Screens in Your Windows

In many parts of the world, window screens are an important necessity of comfortable living. Periodically clean chimneys and fireplace

To keep your house better organized, it is essential to sweep out residual debris from your fireplace and chimney. A fireplace is frequently used during winter and is prone to collect burnt wood shavings and ashes. Along with the fireplace, the chimney also accumulates waste products. It is prudent to periodically clean out both the fireplace and the chimney. Keep in mind that chimney and fireplace waste is fine dust and soot that may pollute your household. Again, an unclean chimney and fireplace is a constant fire hazard.

How to replace a windowsill

You must be aware that the top horizontal frame of the window is the head and the lower horizontal part is the sill. Damaged windowsills not only look unattractive but can also lead to leaking and water damage. You can replace a damaged windowsill or repair the existing ones. Replacing windows and its framework in an older home is a rare thing. New windows in an old house can contribute as much to global energy savings as they lower the homeowner's heating bill. The tools that you would require to replace a windowsill are scissors, cardboard, wood, safety goggles, jigsaw, hand saw, hammer, nails, grip fix, primer, and undercoat and finish paint.
