Making cartoon murals on wall

Mere thought of Cartoons makes children jump up in their seat. Cartoons add to the fantasy of the children and so the murals. Murals are life size wall painting done out of various materials. These murals are made in such a way that they start appearing real. Imagine the joy on your kids face when they see their favorite cartoon character standing in front of them. Murals are meant for type of mood and disposition. It can depict scene from cartoon series or only cartoons in different postures and at various places.

Mural could be found in any type of baby shop or could be easily found in toyshop. For an Internet savvy person getting the mural is not difficult at all. Just a search on the net can fetch hundred of shops only. Or if you cannot find one anywhere then you can do it at home as well.

How to make a mural

Mural making is very good utilization of time. You can make beautiful murals yourself at home. Following procedure will help you to make the mural:

1. Initially get the cutting made out of wood, plastic or fiber. Even if this is not possible you can yourself make the cutting out of cardboard. See to it that the cutting is life size cutting for it will add to magnificent look of the room.

2. Now take some ceramic in the bowl. Add some adhesive like gum to the ceramic. Adhesive will help to prevent the cracks, which are developed after the ceramic is dried. Try and avoid adding water to the ceramic. Unless very necessary, then put some water so that it does not stick to your hand while drawing various shapes of the wet ceramic clay. Now knead the powder such that the clay is formed out of that.

3. Now start drawing various shapes with the help of cutter out of clay. Stick the form on the cutting with the help of gum before it dries up.

4. After sticking the ceramic clay completely on the cutting start painting the mural from top to bottom. Colors used on the mural should be the fabric colors.
