Their reserve energy use may therefore be more important than their active energy use. To further reduce power use, one should consider turning off the power when a fax will not be used for a while.
6. Combination Equipment- Space is often a consideration in a home office and one may not have room for a separate copier, fax machine, printer and scanner. Combination machines can save energy because one eliminates the standby losses of having four machines. It can also help the saving of space.
