They could be asking you for a phone, but then they are really scouting out your home to rob later in the week. You have no idea what they are going to do. In addition, keep your doors and windows locked at all times. You will want to make sure that you watch what you leave open and unattended. Many people will walk right in the front door because they know that you are in the backdoor. Keep in mind that there are many things that you may not be aware that could happen. It's just best that you learn to get in the habit of locking the doors and windows.

Also, you can not allow yourself to be predictable either. You don't want to leave the home at the same time every day and return at the same time either. The way we approach our jobs, this one is a little bit harder, however, you will want to try to make yourself less predictable.

Keep yourself a target too. Don't go around flashing the money because you are only going to attract the bad people. You will not want to leave your garage doors open and you don't want to put your big screen TV on display in front of a big window either.
